Is it certain that there is
someone I should love?
Even now, I can't bring myself to feel such a thing;
A person's words
A lover's voice
The things I fear,
all of them wrap their hands around this,
What has become, my purpose.
Defining this
Understanding it
Either which, does not change much.
Is it certain though, that this much is enough?
No one's words
A voice I hear echos
No one at all;
All of them, these feelings of mine...
fly into the sky.
Is there anyone?! Someone certain
that I should love.
Even now, I can't bring myself to such a thought.
The scenery I see, is so far isolating.
Tell me! Is there anyone?! Sometimes we,
can be so very misleading. Tell me!
Is there anyone?
There are feelings even I need, every once in a while.
There are feelings even I need, to hold on to believe.
Anyone?! Someone certain please!
Someone! Anyone certainly please?!
Hold on, the sky is breaking and
I can't bring myself to such a feeling.
This of course, is certain.

I wrote a poem months ago entitled Hanabi (fireworks in japanese). It was one of my favorties that I wrote, and one that I think described a great deal of me very well. But as time went on, and I had time to reflect on those feelings some more, I discovered that they had changed in away, while remaining the same in some. Nevertheless, it prompted another poem.
